In its 80-year history, Bishop Mackenzie has transitioned through many school houses—new names, new house captains, and sometimes even new colours. But through all the changes, the team rivalry has never faded. Whether it was Moto against Madzi in a dramatic swimming gala, or a split second between Elephants and Leopards at the finish line, one thing has always been certain: when we rep our houses, we give it everything we’ve got. The chants may have evolved, and the house shirts may have been redesigned, but our passion? That never dies.
From the days of Nyika and Kasungu to the era of Moto, Madzi, and Dziko, and now with the Lions, Rhinos, Leopards, and Elephants leading the charge, each generation has carried their house colours with pride. As we take to the field, voices rising to our team chants we remember that while houses may change, the team spirit never does.
