Throughout the 2020s - Infrastructure Developments
The school introduced a number of improved facilities to add on to the infrastructure that was developed in the early 2000s this included heated pools and the improved basketball cour.
2023 - Introducing Wild Dogs
In May of 2023 the school held a vote on what the new school mascot should be and officially phased out the Cobras and ushered in the era of the Wild Dog mascot.
Looking Ahead
Post pandemic, BMIS continues to rebuild on its strong foundation with a focus on growth and development. The school is committed to providing quality education and preparing students for the future.
Mackenzie’s dedication, courage, and compassion left a lasting legacy. He is remembered as a pioneer missionary who risked everything to fight slavery and bring hope to Central Africa. Tributes praised his intellect, humility, and faith. Today, his life continues to be honored in both church history and in Malawi, where he is remembered for his selfless service.
